The trophies to be competed for annually are:-
Premier Section - "YORKSHIRE ELECTRICITY TROPHY" (prize money £250)
Section "A" - "AUCKLAND CUP" (prize money £200)
Section "B'' - "DAVID BROWN'S CUP" (prize money £175)
Knock-out Competition, 1st Xls - "FRIEND ALLSOP CUP"
Knock-out Competition, 2nd XIs – "WC TINKER CUP"
20/20 Competition - "COPYMARK TROPHY"
"GEORGE MEAR TROPHY" - To the team who gain the most points in the last six (6) matches of the League playing season. In the event of a tie then a) the team with the most outright wins or b) the team with the best average runs for and against per wicket excluding the champions in any section.
"GORDON HINCHLIFFE TROPHY" - To the Wicketkeeper in any section with most League victims during a season.
"GEOFFERY BOOTH TROPHY" - To the Bowler who takes the most League wickets in the Premier section.
"T. RAMSDEN TROPHY" - For the most clean bowled in League games.
"TED GILL TROPHY" - For the most six hits in League games.
"H. ROBINSON TROPHY" - For the most improved ground.
"H. WHITTAKER TROPHY BOWLING" - Bowler achieving best figures in a League fixture.
"H. WHITTAKER TROPHY BATTING" - Player achieving highest individual score in a League fixture.
''F. STALLARD TROPHY" - For outstanding service.
"BRIAN HOPTON TROPHY" - Awarded for the best overall performance throughout the season. Player to be under 21 years of age on 1st September of that year.
"T. WILLERTON TROPHY" - To the Fielder in any section with most League catches during a season.
"P. LUMB TROPHY" - To the umpire of the year.
“S. HAWDEN TROPHY” – Player adjudged to be All-Rounder of the year; excludes players who have won any other league or section trophy.
A. Arrangement for engraving of trophies to be the responsibility of the League and to be carried out before the Annual League Dinner each year. Individual and team trophies to be returned at February meeting to allow engraving in time for re-presentation at Annual League Dinner.
B. All team trophies to be finally returned to the League Secretary in a satisfactory condition before the 1st July.
C. The Clubs concerned to be reminded by the League Secretary not less than seven days before both dates.
D. Failure to return any trophy by the due date will result in the club concerned being liable to a £5.50 fine per trophy plus a further fine of £1 per day for each trophy that remains outstanding.
E. All trophies to be insured by the Huddersfield Central Cricket League.
F. Average prizes for all League games to be awarded in each section with the following qualifications.
G. A player must have played in eight matches before he is eligible to take any League prize.
H. A batsman shall not be eligible for the prize who has scored less than 350 runs.
I. A bowler shall not be eligible for the prize that has taken fewer than 35 wickets.
J. A catching prize shall be awarded to the player other than the wicket keeper who takes the highest number of catches in League matches.
K. The wicket keeping prize shall be awarded to the wicket keeper who has the highest number of opponents caught and stumped in League matches.
L. Fixtures not completed due to inclement weather to be included.
M. Section averages will not accumulate performances across more than one team.
N. Awards which are open to players in more than one Section will aggregate performances across more than one team of the same club.
O. In the event of a tie for a catching, or wicketkeeping prize, preference will be given to the player who has played least games.
